ACERCA DE

I'm a composer and singer-songwriter based in Madrid. My artistic name is Suko Pyramid. I started making music as a DJ when I was 12 years old. Later on I broadened my tastes and influences, I now have a predominant influence from early bossa nova, 60's pop, baroque folk and Japanese electro-pop music. I have self-published 10 albums with the help of collaborators mainly from the US. Including my most present horn player in my records: Nelson Devereaux (Bon Iver "Justin Vernon"'s Saxophonist). I've played many gigs in Madrid and LA. My main focus is to compose and produce beautiful and interesting music mainly for personal pleasure (although I admit I sometimes have had delusions involving having a niche following that would appreciate my work and support me financially...). I have songs in all genres, from baroque-pop to electronic avant garde music (and almost always with a pop touch).
