ACERCA DE

I live in Stuttgart (not military) and I play all kinds of rock & roll, but my originals are of a punk/garage/surf rock style. I play bass & guitar and sing (lead or background). I have played in professional bands for years. You can check me out on Youtube with bands like The Rat Rod Kings (Rockabilly) and with Moon Rocket (Alt/Modern Rock). Now, I front a band I helped to start called Neckarions. Check out our video and album on youtube. We are on 30 Kilo Fieber Record label and you can find us there as well.

Influencias

The Sonics, The Ramones, The Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Sonic Youth, New Order/Joy Division, all surf rock, melodic punk rock, garage rock, blues rock & Celtic music. But, really - I am influenced by music from the late 1950's up until (even) now.

EQUIPO

I have a Schecter PT Apocalypse (Telecaster style), a Schecter Ultra VI baritone guitar, a 4 string Fender Jazz Bass (MIM) and an Ibanez SR505PB (my 5 string). I use a Markbass CMD 121 & a Markbass New York 121 extension cab. For my guitars, I use a Marshall MA50C combo. I use a Shure 58 Beta microphone for singing and a Nady DM-80 for mic'ing my cabinet (or DI). For FX: I have my trusty Fulltone OCD Overdrive, a Donner Super Alpha Cruncher 3 Type FX with Delay, Chorus & Distortion, an Old Blood Noise ABY switch-pedal, a Boss OC-3 Octave pedal, an Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pedal & a Cry Baby Wah pedal (one for guitar and one for bass). Also, if you don't own a Beat Buddy 2 Pedal - you really should get one. It makes playing at home so much fun and even serves as a substitute drummer when they can't make practice. I think I'm done with pedals . . . . WAIT! . . . . I just noticed that I don't have a Reverb Pedal . . . . DOH!
